Wedding Stories
I've been creating beautiful wedding stationery for lots of couples for many years and too many to list each individual wedding. I have however chosen a selection of weddings to share with you that I think are a little bit special for whatever reason, I hope you enjoy the gallery. Please check out my Instagram page for more wedding stories.
Bethan and James - Gorse Hill Woking
Bethan and James chose my gorgeous classic style wedding stationery with light pink ribbon and a small diamante heart jewel to go with their pastel pink and blue colour theme. The table plan was a bespoke item, hanging table plan tags on a copper pipe frame, the tables were named after semi precious rocks and the couple provided me with a small sample rock of each table name which I attached to each table plan name tag.
Laura and Dan - Hartsfield Manor
I met Laura at a wedding show about 6 months before their wedding. Laura had said that she wanted a really natural style to her stationery and really liked textures rather than colour. So I added lasercut panels over matt ivory card and we included some other items like ivory ribbon, pearls, Mulberry ivory paper roses, twine and a thin kraft paper border. The pallet style table plan worked perfectly for this wedding, I provided the pallet, mini tins, wooden pegs and table plan tags (which matched to the rest of the stationery) and Jeanie at Love and Light Flowers provided the beautiful flowers which matched to their table flowers. I love this overall look.
Mark and Colette - Hartsfield Manor
What a fun couple Mark and Colette were, I met them at a wedding show and they wanted bling for their wedding with royal blue colours. They had a good look through my social media pages and chose a welcome sign with handmade paper flowers, they sent over a little bride and groom image they wanted to include on the sign. They also chose a pallet style table plan with mini tins, wooden pegs and hanging tags and all of the stationery had larger diamante jewels on - the placecards had a large round crystal jewel and the rest of the stationery had a diamante bar buckle, combined with the royal blue ribbon this created the look they wanted.
Alex and Oliver - Buxted Park Hotel
I've known Alex for many years, she is a wedding industry professional being the Wedding Sales Manager at Nutfield Priory Hotel so it was a real honor that she asked me to be her stationery supplier for her own wedding day but I have to admit I felt a huge pressure to create the perfect stationery for her special day. As Alex has seen alot of my stationery at her wedding shows she had a clear idea of what she wanted - lasercut style with ribbon and a pearl and diamante jewel which worked perfectly for their gorgeous fairytale wedding.
Victoria and Matt - Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa
Victoria and Matt were one of my re-scheduled lockdown weddings. Initially booked for late summer 2020 Victoria just didn't like the ideal of having to socially distance on her wedding day and definitely wanted her dad to walk her up the aisle so they moved to summer 2021. They booked my floral cut design for their stationery and their theme was navy and plum. So they chose a navy backing card for the invitations and plum backing card for their wedding day stationery which included placecards, table names, table plan, menu cards, guest book, postbox, welcome sign, order of the day sign and order of service booklets for the church ceremony.
Norma and Simon - Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa
I really loved the style of Norma and Simon's wedding at Nutfield Priory Hotel. It was a really pretty stationery set with laser cut navy panels on ivory pearlescent card finished with light pink ribbon bow and a diamante, it just worked with the blush pink floral decor perfectly. The matching table plan mounted on a mirror just looked stunning in Nutfield Priory's library which completed the set.
Hannah and Graham - Gildings Barn
Hannah and Graham decided on having a wedding weekend rather than a day, their guest list was huge and they were really set on having their ceremony at St Peter's Church Newdigate and their reception at Gildings Barn but the venue just couldn't accommodate their numbers so they opted to have a garden family festival the following day too. This took alot of planning and alot of information cards in the invitations from the details of both days to local accommodation, children and even transport and parking for both events. They chose a rustic style stationery set for their wedding to suit the barn and garden festival styles in navy and yellow.
